Sigiriya

Sigiriya is one of the most famous historical places in Sri Lanka. It is also known as the “Lion Rock.” Sigiriya is located in the Matale District of Sri Lanka and is visited by many local and foreign tourists every year.


Sigiriya was built by King Kashyapa. He built his palace on the top of this rock for protection and comfort .Tt is a large rock fortress rising nearly 200 meters above the surrounding plain .



                      One of the special features of Sigiriya is the sigiriya frescoes. These are beautiful painting of ancient women , painted on the rock wall.
               


            Sigiriya is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is not only a place of historical value but also a symbol of Sri Lanka’s rich culture and heritage. Sigiriya is truly a wonder that makes Sri Lankans proud.

                        A World Without Internet               Imagine waking up one day and realizing that the internet has completely disappeared. No social media, no Google searches, no YouTube videos, and no instant messages. At first, it might feel peaceful and quiet, but soon, we would understand how much we depend on it.           Without the internet, communication would become slower.
